About Absolute Black
Absolute Black is prized for its even, solid black colour with very little visible grain. Polished, it becomes almost mirror-like; with a leather or honed finish it turns a soft, velvety black.
Its uniform surface is also ideal for engraving, which is why it is often used for name plates and Shila Lekh. On a kitchen platform, a leather finish helps hide fingerprints and water spots.
